National book week: The winner of the ‘design a book cover’ competition was Lizzie Burrell 7C. Lizzie was presented with her prize during the Y7 Assembly. Her winning entry can be seen on the Library notice board.

November is National Novel Writing Month: why not try and write a novel in a month

Red House:  Red House is running a competition for Young Writer’s. The story has to be 1000 words or less and the winning entries will be published.

Wicked Young Writers Award: The Wicked Young Writers’ Award has been established to recognise excellence in writing, encourage creativity and help develop writing talent in young people.
